Join us for a presentation in two parts raising awareness of the 23 year civil war in Uganda, particularly the plight of the Child Soldiers. The first presentation will establish the history and timeline of the war. The second, will look forward to the positive changes that are currently happening in Uganda. Authentic African dance and food will be presented for your enjoyment. canvascommunity is about redefining community. We are being intentional about building relationships with folks who are looking for a place to connect. We all want to be accepted, and this community will provide a place of acceptance without judgment. We don't presume to have it all figured out, but we're open to learning the lessons that life has to offer. We have a desire to connect our faith stories with the lives of people. There are no "rules" for spiritual growth, we recognize that each individual has a journey, but there's no reason to walk the road alone.
